Been here 4 times now. Everytime weave gone you have to take a star or half a one each time. It started off at a 4 star. Taking in that it had only been around for a couple of months. I got the Cobb Salad. A good amount of meat and vegetables and the lettuce was crisp and plentiful put was the bag lettuce. Second time I got the Fiesta Salad. I wanted the tortilla chips and dressing on the side put they came on it put they gave me a new one. Also got the Caption Crunch Chicken Strips for an appetizer. They were unique and delicious put for some reason they are no longer on the menu. When we asked the waitress their last visit she didn't know and said they were popular. The 3rd time I got the Gyro with a side of veggies. Don't get it. Not worth the price. The veggies I could eat in two bites. The gyro itself was smaller than my hand. More Pita then meant and came with small sized up tomatoes, onions and very little sauce. With my dads Fajita. It came with corn not wheat tortillas like the first time he ordered. He couldn't hardly eat it cause it was falling apart. The corn tortillas couldn't handle the hot fillings. This last time we came I got the Clubhouse Salad With grilled chicken. First I got fried chicken but then bought me what I asked for. The Salad was small. It looked big but the hole in the plate was small and deceiving. Maybe 1 and a half handfuls. The lettuce was mostly white not much green. The fries are also the steak fries now and the potions are smaller. The waitstaff have been ok-good every time. Sometimes saw eyes rolling when saying I had asked for items on the side and having to wait fora hostess up front when the place was almost dead on a friday night. Food took longer then it should when the place was dead. The atmosphere is spaces not comforting. The booths are huge. So wide i have to sit on the edge and lean to eat. I mostly likely won't be back anytime soon unless i have a gift card or hear something amazing about their place.

Not sure what these other reviewer are talking about, my wife and I been there 3 or 4 times and each time we have had a nice experience. First off the place is very clean and well kept up. Plenty of flat screen TVs so there view of the TVs from each of the tablet. The food is always decent, we tend to get sandwiches there, and each time came way with more then pleasing thoughts of the place. This time around we both got the Turkey Club, and the sandwich was large and filling. Plenty of beer on tap, the waiter listed at least 10 different beers on tap including my favorite, Spotted Cow. The food came fast and everyone was always nice, each and every time we been there. Next time we hand up to Horicon to do some birding, I'm sure on the way home we will stop off again at the Park ave Sports Cafe.

Server was fine. Food was good. We ordered the garlic shrimp pizza and the other couple ordered the three meat. Prices were reasonable. Definitely a possibility that we would stop back in again at some point.

Stopped by for a Friday fish fry and it was pretty blah. I started with the all you can eat cod and was really disappointed with the fish. I got two really big pieces and when I cut into them they were slightly under cooked on the inside. Not to mention there was a HUGE bloodline running through one piece. The beer batter was heavy and greasy with not much flavor. When I got more fish I switched to the pollock, which was better but not great. The tartar sauce left something to be desired. It was very pickle heavy. My 3 year old daughter got a cheese pizza which I ate two pieces of. Wish I would have just ordered a kids pizza for 1/2 the cost of the fish fry.

Worst fish fry I've ever had. Also got very sick from the fish. Avoid at all costs. The service was extremely slow. My server was also very short with me. I suspect the poor service was due to me being a younger guy and maybe she assumed I wouldn't leave a good tip? Either way this place squanders a prime location with poor service and lousy food. Also, if you're sitting at the bar you have to crane your neck to see the tvs which is extremely uncomfortable.

All I can say is I LOVE this place! The food is great. From the pizzas to wings to burgers and full entrees, I've never been disappointed. The wait staff is exceptional due in large part to an active and caring owner and management staff. The other reviewers are entitled to their opinions for sure. I will say with certainty that this is by far my favorite place for both adult AND family gatherings in a 50 mile radius! If you're in the Beaver Dam area you owe it to yourself to try this fantastic spot. Tell 'em I sent ya.. LOL

This is a sports bar that barely pulls that off let alone serving food. Drinks are good if it comes in a can or bottle. Food is diner/fast food quality at best. For getting drunk and watching a game sure, taking the family for dinner no.

Service was fine, especially considering we were there for a large work dinner, but it took forever to get our food. As for my Big Ten Burger meal: it was charred, it was not cooked medium as I had requested, the onion straws that came on it were not crispy (under cooked), the fries were also soggy (under cooked) and it did not come with the pickle as dictated by the menu. Hopefully, this was due to our big group, but I wouldn't risk the money to give it a second chance.

We ordered a pick up meal, and were very impressed with our main courses, the gyro and philly sandwiches were delicious. The children's chicken meal was very well prepared, but huge, more than enough for adult proportions. I liked the clam chowder though my husband thought it was only ok. The fries would probably be good in restaurant, but fries never travel well in Styrofoam. It was a pleasant meal at home, but I hope I could give it five stars eating there.

Great neighborhood bar & restaurant. Paintings of sports memorabilia all over the restaurant are breathtaking! Great food, good prices. Chris makes the BEST Southern Comfort Old Fashioned's I've ever had!! Great vibe-love this place!

This place is decent. I recommend eating in the bar area...the dining area feels a bit too "family restaurant" for my taste. The fajita salad and the burgers are pretty good. The dinner entrees I haven't had good luck with. They have late night happy hour (8-close) with $1 off drinks, can't beat that. Beaver Dam is pretty lacking in the restaurant department, and this place is definitely better than a lot of the other options.

I have been there atleast 15 times. And by far over the last 3 months the food has gotten better, the portion sizes have gotten bigger. The food is very good, we wan't fajitas however they didn't have a mixture of Steak, Chicken, and Shrimp. Within a moment of asking they said no problem. It was very good, large pieces of steak and chicken, and the shrimp were not shrimps. Will be back.

Typical Albanian owned establishment... Too much food on the menu for it to taste good. 10 dollars gets you a plate of poor quality food that resembles a meal of dog doo. Zero stars minus one. Just horrid. At least you can wash the horse s==t meal from your moufh with an old stale beer from the bar. I'd rather starve to death than eat here again.

My boyfriend and I ate there last Saturday evening as we were passing through Beaver Dam on our way back to Columbus. When we arrived it was around 6:30 pm and there were only 2 or 3 other tables of diners, which maybe should have been a hint. We were seated immediately and remarked that the atmosphere was decent- nice wood floors, an open feeling, tables weren't crammed together. Our server was also nice and provided great service. Unfortunately, the food was a total low point. My boyfriend had the Park Avenue Sandwich and onion rings with the tortilla soup. He said the soup was pretty good, but the sandwich was so bad, he couldn't even finish it (I have NEVER seen him not finish something!). He said the seasoning on his sandwich tasted terrible and overly salty, and the same seasoning was on the onion rings, which looked good but tasted awful. I had the Cobb Salad and was disappointed that for such an expensive salad, it was served in a very shallow plate/bowl, so it LOOKED like a large portion, but in reality it was very little, and it only had iceberg lettuce (for that price, I would expect at least some mixed greens), which wasn't fully dried after being washed, so the salad and dressing were watery. And the chicken on the salad was seasoned (you guessed it!) with the same seasoning as my boyfriend's sandwich and onion rings. And it was indeed horribly salty and unappetizing, which was made worse by the feta cheese on the salad, which made it even saltier. I tried to make the best of it and just eat around the chicken, but there really wasn't much else that was edible- some mealy tomato slices and 1/2 hard boiled egg. It came with a bread stick, which I didn't even taste because it was dripping with oil or grease or something and just looked soggy and slimy. We're not picky people and were expecting it to be basic bar food- nothing fancy, but we found that it was just poorly prepared, low quality, and over-priced. We really wanted to like the place, but we probably won't be back.

My wife and I decided to try out "that new sports bar & grill" for lunch yesterday. We walked in with fairly low expectations. Beaver Dam is not exactly a haven of fine dining. When we walked in our low expectations were met, at first glance, when we were walked to our table, and we were told they only had one available menu so we'd have to share. But before we had our drinks, a second menu was delivered to our table. I like the decor. The walls are adorned with painted sports scenes. Football, Baseball, Basketball, Nascar, they have them all covered. It gives you the immediate feel that yes, you are in a sports bar. I definitely like the fact that the tables are spread apart further than they are in most places. While you might think it would make the place feel empty, it actually makes you feel more at ease because you're not listening to the clinking of silverware and conversations from 3 tables around you. The offerings on the menu itself are nothing special or out of the ordinary. It is what you would expect to find on a sports bar menu. Burgers, a few pasta dishes, sandwiches and a small section of southwestern food. I had a chicken fajita. I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting dry grilled chicken, overcooked vegetables and premixed Tex-Mex seasonings. I was glad to be proven wrong. The chicken was moist, tender and tasted fresh. The vegetables were cooked all the way, but still had that little crisp and snap when biting into them. I didn't care much for the pico de gallo, but my personal dislike for raw jalapeno's might have something to do with that. My wife ordered the Rueben sandwich. First thing she noticed when her food arrived was the fact that the sandwich on the bottom was starting to get soggy already. Upon closer inspection, the kitchen had placed the sliced tomato on top of the bottom slice of toast, and then proceeded to built the sandwich on top of that. Given the fact that the weight of everything on top of it is larger than the bearing capacity of a slice of tomato, all the tomato juices were literally being pressed out of the tomato and into the bread underneath it. Other than that, the sandwich was pretty good. On a side note, it would be nice if they offered a burger choice smaller than 1/2 pound. Not everyone wants to eat half a cow when ordering a burger. 1/3 and even 1/4 pound burgers would be a welcome addition. I can't see our children wrap themselves around a burger that size. There are days I can't see myself devour a burger that size. We did notice they also serve breakfast. That is definitely something we are planning on trying out. In the end, we decided this is a place we would come back to for lunch. Not sure it's a place for us to have a nice dinner at, but it definitely beats many of the other options in town for your typical American Bar & Grill fare.
